South Yorkshire

Unlike rural North Yorkshire (which includes the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors national parks, much of South Yorkshire has been industrialised, major towns and cities including Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster.

There are some areas of countryside though, and the area is within easy reach of the Peak District national park to the west.
