Isirium is the Roman name for the Roman town which once existed at Aldborough just outside Boroughbridge in the Vale of York.
Remains of the Roman walls and a Roman Villa (including some fine mosaic floors) can be viewed here, along with miscellaneous artefacts and archaeological finds in a small museum at the enterance to the site.
