Some more views of Castle Howard
Castle Howard is a magnificent stately home to the north west of the Yorkshire Wolds. Set in the Howardian Hills on the eastern edge of the Vale of York and within easy reach of the North York Moors, Castle Howard and its extensive country grounds are a popular desination for tourists visiting Yorkshire.
The house itself is one of the largest of all of England's stately homes, and was used as the location for the TV adaptation of Evelyn Waugh's "Brideshead Revisited" - starring Jeremy Irons and Anthony Andrews.
