More views of the Howardian Hills
Officially designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty, the Howardian Hills are a low lying range of hills on the eastern edge of the Vale of York and just to the north west of the Yorkshire Wolds.
Set amidst these hills is the magnificent country house of Castle Howard - used as the setting for TV's "Brideshead Revisited".
Villages in the Howardian Hills include Hovingham and Slingsby.
